MATT BREEN, Commercial Director at Media Chain
Matt Breen is responsible for building advertiser and agency relationships to deliver social first branded content solutions for brands. He joined Media Chain in October 2017, and has overseen campaigns with brands including Paddy Power, Panasonic, Universal Music, Pizza Express, Nokia, SuperDry, Pernod Ricard, Aldi, BBC and Kelloggs. Prior to Media Chain, Matt worked at the MailOnline. He initially joined as their first ever Head of Video, later moving to become Head of Mobile and Video. Before leaving he was their Head of Digital, leading their digital sales teams across London and Manchester, as well as launching their Branded Video offering. Matt started his career at Havas Media, where he advised clients on shifting traditional media spend to online video channels, as Head of Video.

ELLIE HERNAMAN, CEO at Truffle Social
Ellie Hernaman is the CEO of London-based social media agency Truffle Social. In 2010 when she recognised the growing social interest for a new social platform called Twitter, Ellie took a punt and quit her PR job to set up Truffle, a creative agency that is best known for its social media services for brands such as Julien Macdonald, The London Design Festival and Swarovski. Despite being banned from Tinder for ‘spamming’ (used to promote a singles night hosted at a client’s venue), she remains an avid social media user – just on other platforms. She is still single.

DUNCAN BURGESS, Client Services Director at Hurricane Media
With twelve years agency and publisher experience under his belt, Duncan Burgess leads Hurricane’s in-house strategy and client solutions team. He gets to the heart of our clients’ challenges and develops strategic marketing plans to produce insights that generate maximum impact. Previously, Duncan has written creative strategy and delivery plans for major brands including Oakley, TalkTalk, Haagen Diaz, AXA and Monarch Airlines.

EMILY HALL, Campaign Director at The Goat Agency
Emily is Campaign Director at The Goat Agency, focusing on the Lifestyle and Fashion campaigns. Working on international campaigns, at just age 23 Emily oversees a team of nine, who can be working on up to 25 campaigns simultaneously. Working with top brands including New Look, Bumble and award-winning Malibu campaigns, she has expertise in influencer marketing, international marketing and content creation.

CLARK BOYD, digital marketing consultant and writer
After graduating from Cambridge University with an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages, Clark has spent the last decades devising and implementing international digital strategies for some of the world’s leading brands. In London, he spent five years at iProspect as their head of global accounts, before joining an independent agency to launch their US office in New York. This allowed him to extend his remit to encompass other digital channels and get a better understanding of what it takes to run a successful company. He also works as an editorial associate for Towards Data Science and is a subject matter expert for Emeritus (Columbia Business School and MIT Sloan), AVADO, Econsultancy, and the Digital Marketing Institute.

JAMES LEWIS, COO at Digital Bridge
James Lewis, COO at DigitalBridge, is positioning the business for global growth. Previously leading product at Studio Skylab, James has over 15 years experience in software development as both a lead developer and product manager. He has been involved in delivering successful projects for a wide range of companies and organisations including British Swimming, William Hill, Hasselblad, Breville and the British Mountaineering Council. He has a strong technical background, including a degree in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, but his real passion is for creating beautiful digital products that meet business goals and that users love.

TOM GREEN, Senior Account Director at The PHA Group 
Tom has over 10 years’ experience in technology PR and has acquired a plethora of PR and social media experience across both B2C and B2B. He’s a strategic thinker and has worked with the likes of Philips, Virgin Media, Virgin, Sony, PlayStation, Nikon, Motorola and more, as well as many start-ups. He’s managed national,  EMEA and global PR launches and has represented his clients at trade tech events such as CES, MWC, IFA and Photokina. He’s entrepreneurial (his claim to PR fame was arranging a press day for Sir Richard Branson) and believes PR should fundamentally drive client business results.

DEBBY PENTON, Managing Director at Wildfire PR
Debby is the managing director of tech PR specialist Wildfire. With over 20 years working with a wide variety of technology brands, Debby has a broad understanding of how different technologies are impacting and improving the lives and experiences of consumers in and outside the home. Her experience ranges from connected devices and smart home technology to consumer electronics, from the likes of TVs and headphones to fitness trackers and lifestyle apps. Debby chairs the technology group for the PRCA, a UK PR membership body, and is a regular judge for renowned PR awards schemes from industry media groups such as PR Week, PR Moment and Holmes Report.
